Main Pipelines & Platforms
As Taiwan’s startup ecosystem is on the upward trajectory, gaining recognition and achieving good performances in the international arena, the National Development Council of Taiwan and the Taiwan startup community jointly created Startup Island TAIWAN.
• The Taiwan-Berkeley Health Innovation Accelerator Program is a partnership between Berkeley Public Health, the National Development Council of Taiwan, and the national startup brand of Taiwan, Startup Island TAIWAN. • The program supports an annual cohort of startups from Taiwan who are seeking to bring their health innovations to the U.S. market and offers them access to the innovative healthcare opportunities in the Bay Area. • The startups will undergo a 3-month intensive training on health policy and management of health innovations, as well as concierge access to a world-class network of expert advisers, mentors, and design consultants to help make their products more user-centered and market-ready for the U.S. market.
